SOFT WASHING

Soft washing is a cleaning method using low pressure and specialized solution to safely remove mildew , bacteria, algae and other organic stains from roof siding, roofs and other building exteriors. It is so named to differentiate the method from Power Washing .

Simply put, soft washing relies on a cleaning solution applied at low pressure to clean the surface  rather that relying on pressure to clean.  

 Pressure washing or power washing is the use of high-pressure water spray to remove loose paint, mold, grime, dust, mud, and dirt from surfaces and objects such as buildings, vehicles and concrete surfaces. 

Pressure washing is very effective when cleaning hard surfaces as concrete & stone.

Soft washing and pressure washing are two different methods of cleaning surfaces that are often used interchangeably, but they have their own distinct advantages and disadvantages. It's important to understand that both techniques have their place in the cleaning industry and one is not necessarily better that the other.

Soft washing involves using a low-pressure water spray combined with a cleaning solution to remove dirt, algae, and other contaminants from a surface. This method is ideal for cleaning delicate surfaces such as roofs, stucco, siding and painted surfaces , which can be damaged from high-pressure water. Soft washing is also effective at killing and removing the root system of mildew, algae, moss, and lichens, which can grow back quickly if not completely removed and neutralized.      

On the other hand, pressure washing uses high-pressure water to blast away dirt and grime from surfaces. This method is ideal for removing stubborn stains, graffiti, and chewing gum from hard surfaces  such as concrete , brick, or stone. Pressure washing can also be used to prep surfaces for painting or sealing by removing any loose paint or debris. However, pressure washing can be too harsh for delicate surfaces and can cause damage to the surface  or surrounding areas if not used properly.
